The Bruce James Orchestra is a swing band based in and around Maple Ridge, BC, Canada. We perform for various functions and occasions, playing swing music from the 40s right to today.

LEAD TRUMPET PLAYER. STRONG READER WITH A GOOD RANGE, AND A GOOD FEEL FOR MUSIC OF THE BIG BAND ERA STYLE. IMPROVISATION NOT A PREREQUISITE, BUT CERTAINLY AN ASSET.
LEAD ALTO PLAYER. STRONG READER THAT CAN DOUBLE ON CLARINET. IMPROVISATION NOT A PREREQUISITE, BUT CERTAINLY AN ASSET.
DRUMMER. STRONG READER , AND A GOOD FEEL FOR MUSIC OF THE BIG BAND ERA STYLE.
